9:00am - NOON
Lakeview Resort, Morgantown, WV
Speaker: Amy Betros
Amy's conversion story begins in 1990 in Medjugorje, where she experienced a profound awareness of God's love for her. Afetr the trip, Amy returned to Buffalo where she owned a restaurant, Amy's Place. She knew that her life would never be the same. Later on a pilgrimage to fatima, Amy meeting Norm Paolini changed her life and countless others. Amy and Norm felt called to serve God by caring for the poor. They started by supplying food to those in need from the back of Amy's Place.

Soon it was clear that God was calling them to do more. After selling the restaurant, Amy and Norm purchased the closed St Luke's Catholic Church in Buffalo, and St Luke's Mission of Mercy was born. St Luke's strives to show the great love and mercy of God by performing corporal and spiritual works of mercy. They feed 500 people a day, provide clothing and shelter to the homeless, and operate an elementary school. When shown the kindness of God, people start to believe that they are special and God loves them. When people start to know God's love for them, lives are transformed!
